The honest comparison

Quartz, granite
or marble?

We sell all three, so we have no reason to push one. Here is how they actually behave in a Kolkata kitchen.

Short version: Quartz for a working kitchen, granite when budget or direct heat decides it, marble where the stone is meant to be looked at..

Note the overlap-Botticino Italian marble at ₹330 costs less than any quartz we stock, and less than Blue Pearl granite at ₹850. Price alone will not choose for you.

In stock

Fifteen colours,
same slab every time.

Because quartz is engineered, the slab you approve is the slab that arrives — and a second slab a year later still matches. Granite cannot promise that.

Where it goes

Four jobs quartz
does better than stone.

01 · KITCHEN

Kitchen countertops

The main reason to buy quartz. Turmeric, oil, lemon and wine wipe straight off a non-porous surface, and no sealing is ever needed. Use a trivet for pans straight off the flame — resin does not love direct heat.

02 · DINING

Dining table tops

A quartz dining top takes daily use without ring marks, which is exactly where a marble table fails. Cut to your table drawing with a polished full-round edge, ready for your carpenter's base.

Vanity & bathroom tops

Non-porous means no water seepage at the basin edge and no staining from soap or dye. Undermount or countertop basin cut-outs done here, before delivery.

04 · FLOORING

Quartz flooring

Less common but excellent where you want a seamless, uniform floor with no lot variation. Better suited to indoor areas — quartz does not like sustained direct sunlight.

Dealers · Fabricators · Contractors

Quartz, granite and marble
on one invoice.

We hold quartz alongside Indian granite, imported marble, quartzite, onyx and tiles in the same East Topsia yard. For a fabricator or contractor that means one supplier, one delivery and one set of terms for the whole flat.

Frequently asked

Straight answers.

What is the quartz price per square foot in Kolkata?
Our quartz starts at ₹750 per sq ft for Custom and Calcutta Greek. Calacatta Monnet is ₹800, Calacatta Noir ₹850, Eclipse Gold and the Yellow and Green Onyx Quartz series ₹950–₹1,100, and Calacatta Golden Satwario ₹1,150–₹1,350. Full card above.
Do you install the quartz countertop?
No — we are supply only for slabs. You arrange your own mason or fabricator for fitting. The exception is table tops, which we make in-house: send your drawing and we cut to size with a polished edge, ready for your carpenter's base. Ask us to confirm whether sink cut-outs can be done on your particular job.
Quartz or granite for a kitchen countertop?
Quartz if you cook Indian food daily — non-porous, so turmeric and oil do not stain, and it never needs sealing. Granite if hot pans go straight from the flame to the platform, since quartz resin can scorch. Granite is also far cheaper: from ₹125/sq ft against quartz from ₹750. Full comparison above.
Which is your cheapest quartz?
Custom and Calcutta Greek, both ₹750 per sq ft. Custom is the plainer of the two; Calcutta Greek gives you fine grey veining at the same rate, which most people prefer for a kitchen.
Does quartz stain or need sealing?
No sealing, ever. Water absorption is under 0.05%, so liquids sit on the surface rather than soaking in. Wipe with a mild pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid abrasive scourers and never use bathroom acid on it.
Can I use quartz for a dining table top?
Yes, and it is one of the best uses — a marble dining top rings and etches from glasses and lemon within months; quartz does not. This is also one of the few things we fabricate ourselves. From ₹750/sq ft plus fabrication, cut to your drawing with a polished edge.
Is the onyx-look quartz the same as real onyx?
No, and the difference matters. Yellow and Green Onyx Quartz (₹950–₹1,100) give you the look on a durable, non-porous surface. Real onyx starts at ₹1,600 and runs to ₹2,500, is porous and soft, and genuinely glows when backlit — quartz does not transmit light the same way. For a bar front you will actually use daily, the quartz is the sensible answer; for a backlit feature wall, buy the real thing.
Will two slabs bought months apart match?
Within the same production batch, yes — that is quartz's real advantage over granite and marble. For a phased project tell us up front and we will reserve from one lot. Across different batches there can be slight variation, so do not assume it.
What is the minimum order?
There is no minimum order, but we recommend at least 28 sq ft to ensure a consistent look across the area you are covering.
Do you supply dealers and fabricators?
Yes, below the retail card on volume — with quartz, granite, marble, onyx and tiles available on one invoice from the same yard. Because we do not install, we do not compete with your fitting crews. Details above.
