The one people picture when they say Italian marble. Bright white ground with decisive grey veining that runs thick and confident. Best used where it can be seen whole — a foyer floor, a bookmatched feature wall.
Rarer than Statuario and warmer in tone. Gold and taupe veins move across a clean white field. We reserve bookmatched pairs at the quarry so a wall can mirror itself properly rather than approximately.
The quiet one. Fine grey feathering on a soft white ground, far more even than Statuario — which makes it the sensible choice for large floors where you want calm rather than drama. Also the most forgiving to match across lots.
Beige with a fine, uniform grain and very little drama — which is exactly why it has been used in Indian homes for forty years. Hard-wearing, hides everyday marks, and warms a north-facing room that white marble would leave cold.
A cream ground with soft honey movement, warmer than Botticino and more consistent slab to slab. Popular for whole-floor jobs where the client wants marble to read as a single continuous surface rather than a collection of pieces.

Armani Grey, Thunder Blue and Grey Statuario. Dark marble is unforgiving of poor installation and beautiful when it is done right — we will tell you which of your rooms can carry it and which cannot.

Where it goes
The right slab for a foyer is the wrong slab for a kitchen. Here is how we actually specify it.
Large-format slabs cut to your room, laid with minimal joints so the floor reads as one surface. For whole-floor work we recommend the calmer families — Carrara, Botticino, Crema Marfil — because bold veining fights itself across a big area.
Kitchen tops take heat, acid and impact. We supply 20 mm with a sealed surface and finished edge, and we will say plainly when quartz is the better answer for a working kitchen — marble stains, and you should know that before you buy it.
Wet areas need a honed or leather finish — polished marble underfoot in a shower is genuinely dangerous. Vanity tops, shower walls and niches cut from a single slab so the veining carries around the corner.
Feature walls in bookmatched pairs, cut so the two slabs mirror each other exactly. For exterior cladding we will steer you toward the denser, lower-absorption stones — Kolkata humidity is hard on soft marble.
