Italian Marble Price in Kolkata

Our rates, in writing.

Most marble houses will not put a number on a page. We will. These are showroom rates per square foot at East Topsia, current as of  . The slab you pick sets the final figure — but you will never hear a different number at the counter than you read here.

Every Italian marble
worth naming.

Eight families, quarried across Carrara, Tuscany and Verona. Each is on the floor at East Topsia today — walk in and see the actual slab before you decide.

Statuario Italian marble slab — white with bold grey veining

Statuario

Carrara, Italy · Snow white

The one people picture when they say Italian marble. Bright white ground with decisive grey veining that runs thick and confident. Best used where it can be seen whole — a foyer floor, a bookmatched feature wall.

Calacatta Gold Italian marble slab — white with warm golden veining

Calacatta Gold

Apuan Alps · White & gold

Rarer than Statuario and warmer in tone. Gold and taupe veins move across a clean white field. We reserve bookmatched pairs at the quarry so a wall can mirror itself properly rather than approximately.

Bianco Carrara Italian marble slab — soft white with fine grey feathering

Bianco Carrara

Carrara, Tuscany · Soft white

The quiet one. Fine grey feathering on a soft white ground, far more even than Statuario — which makes it the sensible choice for large floors where you want calm rather than drama. Also the most forgiving to match across lots.

Botticino Classico Italian marble slab — warm beige with subtle markings

Botticino Classico

Brescia, Lombardy · Warm beige

Beige with a fine, uniform grain and very little drama — which is exactly why it has been used in Indian homes for forty years. Hard-wearing, hides everyday marks, and warms a north-facing room that white marble would leave cold.

Crema Marfil marble slab — cream ground with soft honey tones

Crema Marfil

Imported · Cream & honey

A cream ground with soft honey movement, warmer than Botticino and more consistent slab to slab. Popular for whole-floor jobs where the client wants marble to read as a single continuous surface rather than a collection of pieces.

Where it goes

Marble behaves differently
in every room.

The right slab for a foyer is the wrong slab for a kitchen. Here is how we actually specify it.

01 · FLOORING

Italian marble flooring

Large-format slabs cut to your room, laid with minimal joints so the floor reads as one surface. For whole-floor work we recommend the calmer families — Carrara, Botticino, Crema Marfil — because bold veining fights itself across a big area.

  • Best for thisCarrara · Botticino
  • Thickness18 / 20 mm
  • FinishPolished / honed
  • Rate from330/sq ft
02 · KITCHEN

Countertops & worktops

Kitchen tops take heat, acid and impact. We supply 20 mm with a sealed surface and finished edge, and we will say plainly when quartz is the better answer for a working kitchen — marble stains, and you should know that before you buy it.

  • Best for thisGrey Statuario
  • Thickness20 mm
  • EdgeBullnose / mitred
  • Rate from800/sq ft
03 · BATHROOM

Bathroom & vanity

Wet areas need a honed or leather finish — polished marble underfoot in a shower is genuinely dangerous. Vanity tops, shower walls and niches cut from a single slab so the veining carries around the corner.

  • Best for thisCarrara · Dark
  • FinishHoned / leather
  • Thickness18 mm
  • Rate from350/sq ft
04 · WALLS

Wall cladding & exterior

Feature walls in bookmatched pairs, cut so the two slabs mirror each other exactly. For exterior cladding we will steer you toward the denser, lower-absorption stones — Kolkata humidity is hard on soft marble.

  • BookmatchReserved pairs

Supplying the people who supply everyone else.

We are a direct importer, not a reseller. That means trade partners buy at importer rates, see the container list before it lands, and can reserve lots against a project that has not broken ground yet.

Frequently asked

Your questions,
answered properly.

What is the price of Italian marble per square foot in Kolkata?
Our rates start at 330 per sq ft for Botticino Classico  and ₹350 for Crema Marfil. Bianco Carrara is₹850, Calacatta Gold is ₹900, and Statuario is ₹950–₹1,200. The White Italian range spans₹800–₹1,500, while rare exotic lots range from₹1,000–₹2,000. Rates are for the polished, calibrated and edge-finished slab at East Topsia.
Do you install the marble?
No — we are supply only.   We deliver the finished slab and you arrange your own mason or contractor for laying, installation and on-site polishing. We say this up front because it changes your budget: get a laying quote from your contractor alongside our material rate. The one thing we do fabricate in-house is  table tops.
What is the cheapest Italian marble you have?
Botticino Classico at ₹330 per sq ft, followed by Crema Marfil at₹350 and the Grey & Dark range from ₹350. Worth knowing: that is less than several Indian granites — our Blue Pearl granite is₹850/sq ft. Italian marble is not automatically the expensive option.
What is the minimum order quantity?
There is no minimum order quantity. You can buy according to your project requirement. Whether you need a single slab for a vanity or table top, or a larger quantity for flooring and other projects, we can supply accordingly.
Can I see the actual slab before I buy it?
Yes, and you should. Every slab is unique — two pieces of the same variety from different lots will not match. Our East Topsia gallery holds  500+ slabs   on the floor under natural light. We will tag your chosen slab with your name so nobody else is sold the one you decided while you make your decision.
